2 Corinthians 1:3-7 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.  If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. Our hope for you is unshaken, for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort.

I have seen the many faces of fear and of pain

I have watched the tears fall plenty from heartache and strain

So if life’s journey has you weary and afraid

There’s rest in the shadow of His wings

In this life on earth come many fears, pain and tears.  I can say that I have experienced and seen other go through the same.  But in the hand of God is rest.  The world may be coming down on you, too much to handle but in the shadow of God you can be sure that He is near.

Psalm 17:8 Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings

We are His focus He will always be there for us to protect and to comfort. So as the body of God we need to do the same for each other and be there for each other when one member is going through a hard time we all need to be as one and go thought it together with that one.  We need to lift each other up when we see or know that there is one in need, we need to offer a hand to all members because we will all go thought the trials and sufferings so let us the body be that “Hand of God”.

I have walked through the valleys, the mountains, and plains

I have held the hand of freedom that washes all my stains

If you feel weight of many trials and burdens from this world

There’s freedom in the shelter of the Lord

Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

In this life we will walk through the many valleys when it looks like there is no hope in site but we can be certain that the freedom of the hand of God will always be there.  When the presence of God is near to us we are free from all fear.  We can stare fear in the face and not be afraid.  We will walk on the mountains because there is freedom in the shelter of the Lord.  If we will only hold on to the hand of God He will bring us to places we have never been.

And I have seen the healing hand of God

Reaching out and mending broken hearts

Taste and see the fullness of His peace

And hold on to what’s being held out

The healing hand of God

God is reaching out His hand to us but will you reach your hand out to God? In the hand of God there you will find the peace that can mend broken hearts. In His hand there is everything that you need.

And I have touched the scars upon His hands to see if they were real

He has walked the road before me; he knows just how I feel

When you feel that there’s not anyone, who understands your pain

Just remember all of Jesus’s suffering

John 20:26-28 Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”  Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.”  Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”  Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

You can relate to God because He has gone thought everything that you are going thru.  He has come to earth and experienced the life on this earth and all its pains. He understands the pain that you go though so confide in Jesus the one who suffered for you.

‘Cause I have seen the healing hand of God

Reaching out and mending broken hearts

Taste and see the fullness of His peace

And hold on to what’s being held out

Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you

He’s near to the broken and confused

By His stripes our spirit is renewed

So enter in the joy prepared for you

Peter 5:7 casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

God has promised all these things to us so all we need to do is to enter into the joy that God has prepared for you He has gone thought it all so that we can know the joy. He cares for you, He is near when you are brokenhearted and confused and crushed.  By His stripes our spirit is renewed.  He loves you so much that He did it all that day so we can come to Him today.  He cares when nobody else cares so come and enter into the joy.

Psalm 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Everything is ready all we have to do is just come and take it.

I have seen the healing hand of God

Reaching out and mending broken hearts

Taste and see the fullness of His peace

And hold on to what’s being held out

The healing hand of God

The healing hand of God

The healing hand of God

And hold on to what’s being held out

(Hold on)

And hold on to what’s being held out

(Hold on)

The healing hand of God, oh, oh

James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.  Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Now this is the part where you get a chance to respond. Did God touch you in this? If He did write it down and share with the world.  Your response is not just for me but for all those that visit and read this blog.

Is there any hard time that you have been going thought?

What is your experience of the Hand of God?

Be comforted in the fact that The Healing Hand of God is always near
